Small Group Vision Statement:

To encourage the entire body of Christ at Paxtonville to be involved in small group community.

Small Group Mission Statement: Paxtonville Church Small Groups will: 1) Honor God by exercising our faith through worship in:

Daily prayer

Consistent Bible study

Corporate Sunday worship

2) Develop Godly relationships within and between groups

3) Seek Christ-like character to be equipped as contributing members of the body of Christ.

4) Contribute to the ministries Christ sets before Paxtonville Church

5) Reach out to Paxtonville and beyond in cooperation with the GO Ministry

Small Groups:

Golden Girls—Christianity’s Family Tree, a study of different denominations

Colleen & Del’s groups — social & service activities

Bible Seekers—Studying James Planning a trip in May to Labyrinth in Carlisle, all invited.

Men of Faith—Men of the Bible 3rd Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. Trinity UMC or PUMC


 

Aime’s Book Club — “Ordering Your Private World” One of the greatest difficulties today in our busy lives is ordering our private lives. In this book we will take the opportunity to explore how we can build our own relationship with God and order ourselves from inside out. Thursdays, July 10, 17, 24, Aug. 7, 14, 21 7:00 p.m. at the church

The Living Walk—Groups of walkers exercising faith. Check the sign-up sheet on the Fellowship Hall entrance doors if interested in joining a small group of walkers. All ages are welcome. Dates, times, & locations to be determined by walkers.
